I found this buried at a local dog park and it had a ton of corrosion on it that I cleaned off and this is what's left. It is a extremely hard material but 1 very small corner managed to break of to show what the inside looks like. Shown in pictures. It does have some writing or markings on it but I can only really make out 1 or 2 letters and nothing else. I'm pretty new at detecting and have not really mastered the settings etc. can any of the experts lens me their opinions on this one please thank you so much guys!! Mwaaaaa!!

Does anyone else have any ideas what this could be? It has some words written across it but I can't tell what it says. I'm still trying to work on cleaning it a bit more but here's some newer pictures of it cleaned

It's a wood rasp. They are thicker than a file, and the one in the photo is rounded on one side which even makes it thicker. The writing could be a brand name in a clear spot. Afile.webp

Found in a dog park you say. And you handled that. I ain't holding hands with you. Ugh. Ok enough of that. Try electrolics (how ever you spell it). I had a badly rusted pistol barrel and after we ran it thru, I could read the writing on the barrel. It may help with the id, but file or rasp does sound pretty good.

Are you trying to say electrolysis?

Looks like it might be a broken pice of a lawn mower or edger blade.
