An interesting piece.
I can't even guess its origins. :dontknow:

Almost has an African look to it, and then maybe a Pacific Island look?

Just some more info on it.It was bought here in Central Texas,The wood is fairly light,Approx Dimensions 36" X 13" X 2".

These are still being made in New Guinea. I suspect within the last 50 years...
