was at a friends last night, and they said they had a old blue jar in the basement.. that was there when the house was bought by them.. so i made a $50.00 offer and brought it home... far as i can tell it is late 1920s.. and the lid was broke at one time.. but i like old glass so no complaints ;D best of hunts to all MR TUFF

Very nice jar. Keep your fingers crossed on it being a original oldie. Most of the originals were clear glass. There was a rash of reproduction Peranut Jars, Cop Top and Baby Top Milk Bottles being made in Cobalt Blue, Pink, Green, Vaseline Yellow among other colors in the late 80's when the Bottle Collecting Craze got hot.

$50.00 well spent, even if it is a recent add-on.......if for no other reason then it's beauty. A gorgeous bottle.
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.
