Found this book among others collecting dust in my dads old barn.Its a collection of accounts from a military officer from 1861 to 1866.If you can look past the authors self absorbency,its a pretty interesting read.The most exciting thing about this book,however, is not the script, but the book itsself.It is a first run,limited edition for the author to distribute to his family and friends...and look who he distributed this one to!
Ive read through some of Booker T's memoirs and found that he and the author were indeed acquaintances.Although there is no mention of the giving of the book, I think that I can safely assume that I now have a piece of literature that was once owned by a prominant historic figure!
