I was out in the woods yesterday, and from what I understand, the site dates back to the late 1800's. I found this piece there, and have no clue as to what it is. I think it is some kind of pendant due to the loop on top. I don't know which would be the front or back, but my guess is that the front would be where it is stamped.
It's 1" wide by 1 1/4" long, and maybe 1/2" high relief on the one side.
If anyone knows what this could be and what it was used for, I would greatly appreciate it.
Any ideas of what the stamp means?
Is it in a different language?
