20180827_100358.jpgput this together using pottery sherds that I found. Measures 10 y 14. Have to make a Barnwood frame for it. Pales in comparison to the photos above but I wanted to do something with the pottery. I have enough to make maybe 10 more frames and then I will pass them on to family and friends. Not one sherd was altered . It is like putting a puzzle together

Wowzers, there are some great Cahokia looking points in that frame. Awesome frame if they are modern, incredible if they are ancient pieces.

Cahokia points are modern. I made them all, except they were all broken. When I broke one making it, (often) I tossed the pieces in a jar. The guy from Eldon bought the jar for $50, glued all the broken ones back together and made the frame. Most of the points are colorful heated Kaolin flint. Gary

Gary, a very fine use for broken points. It came out beautifully.

Jon, I remember when you first posted that piece of artwork. Very inspirational, makes me want to do something more with pottery shards. (That always happens, I tradedGrim for some of my beads several years ago and his display of them looks better than any of mine.)
