I was down in a creek on my neighbors land searching for arrowheads and I came across one area that was pretty deep due to washout and turbulence and down in the bottom stuck in the sediment were these colorful boulders about the size of someones head. I have a natural interest in pretty rocks and thought maybe of going back this weekend to pull them out and bring them home. I was hoping someone would have an idea of what kind of rock these are, the quality of the pics are not the greatest because all I had with me was my phone. The second rock has a very stubby outer texture but appears to have the same coloring on the inside as the other one does.

What the heck is that!?!?!

The first is a Watdahekizdat. And it is a good one. The second, is similar but of the Dangifino variety. I'll be anxiously waiting for other responses for verification. Fossils? Alien eggs? Did you try a Geiger counter on either one? Don't put 'em in your mouth until someone else identifies them as I could be wrong.

You know that is what I was thinking but I wasn't sure, thanks for the clarification. I will make sure I don't eat any of them until I get more responses from others just to make sure.

Possibly goethite/limonite.

I searched those two and couldn't find anything that resembled these rocks I have found, I definitely appreciate the help from you and everyone else. Maybe someone will come along that happens to recognize what they are

Possible meteorite?

You know if that was even remotely possible I think I would be planning a very nice vacation somewhere tropical, these rocks are around the size of a basketball or maybe a tad bigger, I guess if I'm going to dream I might as well dream big. :laughing7:
