These two fossils, and the fossil bearing rock they rest on, were found in 1999 or 2000 on my own land here in Haskell County, located in the southeastern part of Oklahoma. When I cleaned and examined the rocks, two small pieces fell away, intact. The balance of the rock has been partially prepared with acid and preserved, and contains fossil bone encased in very hard matrix. For more views of this fossil, and for other pictures of fossils in my collection, go to my website by clicking here http://www.the-haskellok.com/fossils/index.html. I welcome any comments or ideas about my fossils. Thank you.
