Found this today, looks early 20th Century. Any help with ID?

I have a suspicion that it is a headbadge from a Newport bicycle made by S & F Swell of Little Falls, NY.

Thanks for the help, logo is SHF, not sure what that stands for though. I have a hunch that you may be correct lets see what the others say.
