Vegas Detectoring

I'm headed to Vegas on Monday and Tuesday, Feb 2-3. Just wondering if anyone would be able to meet up to go out, or at least point me in the right direction. Don't know anything about the area, and not really looking for anything amazing, just want to take advantage of not being in Minnesota where the ground is like iron right now. Thanks for any help.

You can give a try out Eastern to the edge of N Las Vagas. Used to be a ton of transient camps out that way & was used for dumping. North of Bonanza & Pecos is Freedom Park was a pretty good park and if my memory serves there's a couple smaller parks by the library in the area. Google earth it & print out a couple of screenshots before you go! Good hunting!
