VDI NUMBERS

I had a list of numbers here on file somewhere but now can't find them. I have since learned that they can vary between detectors of the same model. Suggest you start waving various targets over the coil in the air to get a feel for where they turn up. I wouldn't worry to much about the numbers as long as it is above Iron a might you should scoop it as White gold can read in the foil range. Since the digging is easy on the beaches, just go for it and smile.

Good Luck,

Sandman

I was saving this stuff for some reason

Steel Cent................................10
Lincoln copper...........................36-37

bust dime.................................37
merc.......................................38

The way I set it up is ,and you will increase your finds by setting 4 customs,
(Use Cross over)
Use High T/D
All metal ferrous
All metal conductive,
-10,-9 ferrous.
-10, -9 conductive.
and just switch from one to the other to sort items, the sounds will tell you what it is, where it is and what its next to.
Also manual sens. set to the ground your working.
If your running a program (I don't think you should...To Much disc. ) and want to get around the nulling . swing Left too right , then right too left before you step froward. This way if iron is next to a target you will pick it up with a one way swing.
