I'm not able to post a pic, I am traveling and a long way from the item.
I did find a lovely ring, that has an 8 x 6 mm oval diamond. It could possibly be a 9 x 7 mm, as it is mounted with a little of it hidden. It looks very clean to the naked eye, and under scope I can find no noticable inclusions, carbon, or faults.
Any idea roughly, on how much a stone of that shape and size, may go for? Thanks for any and all input.

I took my college ring to a very upscale jeweler here and wanted the 1/10 carat diamond it came with replaced and a bigger stone put in. Got a little over a 1/3 carat stone installed and paid $1000 for it. I also got the diamond lesson of my life. Anyway, I'll bet you have about a 3/4 to 1 carat stone, probably a one carat or so. There are all sorts of grades and colors. There are really cheap 1 carat stones with carbon spots and inclusions and there are magnificent 1 carat stones that are worth a great deal of money. I suggest you take it to a reputable jeweler in your area and have it appraised. Good luck...

Take it to an appraiser or gemologist and have it checked.
It it is spotless it'll either be very expensive, an imitation or synthetic.
