Valentine's finds and the day after!! British pewters??

Went to my new spot yesterday and today....very diverse finds!!!! Colonial to the 1950's. Please help me out on the buttons, but I believe that the 8 pointed star is the 63rd Regiment of Foot, and the broken one may be the 19th Regiment of Foot?? Also can anyone tell me what the ornate brass piece is....maybe something to attach to leather judging by the hooks on the back? Also check out the South Carolina driver's license, Indian head penny, and musket balls. This new Deus XP is the best thing I ever bought...I love this hobby/life enveloping obsession!! :) Metal detecting is all I dream about these days.....:) IMG_20160215_143356.jpgIMG_20160215_144901.jpgIMG_20160215_144845.jpgIMG_20160215_144837.jpgIMG_20160215_144815.jpgIMG_20160215_144754.jpgIMG_20160215_144746.jpgIMG_20160215_144659.jpgIMG_20160215_144047.jpgIMG_20160215_143506.jpgIMG_20160215_143432.jpgIMG_20160215_143407.jpgIMG_20160215_144948.jpg

Very nice series of finds there.I hope those buttons turn out as you have described them. I have been getting a drivers license since 1949 and I have never seen a metal one ,but how many states issue those?

The thing with the hooks on the back is a 1700s bridle adornment, that is what I was told when I found this one at Adams Run last month.

Congrats on the nice finds!

PS: The Deus is an awesome machine!

Nice Digs LC. Many years ago when I was 10 yrs old. The old guy next door had metal drivers license on his keychain that had been issued years earlier. It really fascinated me. I happened to find one last year myself. Its a cool find here in SC

Great collection of stuff love the history

Congratulations-you have found quite a site! I say that the small pewter is definitely 19th regiment of foot, and I agree that the picture you posted of the 63rd button is an exact match.
