Turst me I Had at least 2 Excellent years at a
Freshly Drained lake.

I'm chomping at the bit to find another
in my area
with Gold & silver Prices where they are.
& Don't get me started on the Fishing Lure
Boxes, 1920's & 30's Beer cans, Etc. Etc.

popular Lakes used for Swimming & Fishing
Pre, During & After WW2 are Treasure Holes :coffee2:

If they only had a plug, Like a bathtub... :laughing7:

I've read this in the paper and on the local news. My mother grew up less than a mile from this and she never mentioned swimming there.

However, she did tell me of an old "witches" house they were scared of as kids which I detected and found a really nice gold brooch.

Was mostly farms near there so probably not a lot of kids swimming in it. But again, my grandmother who grew up there did tell me her dad marked a large rock somewhere along the creek that flows through the area and she was hoping I could locate it for her. He's the one that burried a trunk load of silver dollars somewhere.

A lot of new developments in the area now, farms sold and houses now...pretty sad actually.
