Hope everyone had a great holiday last week and got some nice hunting in!
I took a quick trip back to IL to see family and was able to get over to a late 1800's farm for some hunting. It is my third time over there and so far have only managed a pair of soap tokens, and a wheatie. Well this trip was much the same. Scored one more wheatie there and a cool 5cent token that fooled me at first. I thought it was a seated or caped bust dime.
Then made it back up north to visit more family and was able to detect another yard which was built in the '30s. Mosquitos were HORRIBLE!!! and it was hot but I kept getting wheaties and kept pushing on... then a nice high tone that hit between 4-46 to 6-48 on the etrac. Thought it might be a half dollar or half of a can and was amazed to see two silvers! It was a washington sandwich with a wheat in the middle!!! I wish I had more time there but vacation had to end.
HH everyone.
