Hello All,
Well, as expected it was hot in Galveston and rained a few days but got some sun nonetheless. Had to go deposit coins before I could get on line.
Found over a dollar in change with my metal detector. Whoppiee!!! Also found a few homeless folks sleeping on the beach at 6:30AM in the morning. No one bothered me, however.
Yep, if you were betting that I would get skunked on the great island of Galveston, you were correct (well, for the most part). Had 1-1967 out of 2 boxes. And that's it. Still fun sitting on the balcony drinking a cold one and opening coins overlooking the water.
On the way to the bank now to pick up my next boxes. Geez, I hope the lull is over. My boxes have been real stinkers lately. And sadly, I have to cut back my boxes to 3 per week starting next week as I am back in the swing now 5+days per week--then there is Texas Football, of course!
