I had a week off from work the last week in October. I managed to get out a few days. The 1831 Capped bust half dime looks like it was dropped after it was minted! Found it on the edge of farm field outside where they plant.
Second set up pics is an older farm field, one of the first I got permission to detect. In one corner there used to be a colonial era homestead. I think I pulled a William III half penny from that field years ago. I go back everyone other year or so as the plow always seems to bring up new items.
The last set of pics if from a house across the street from the colonial farm field I have been eyeing for years now. The owner saw me out in the field, asked me over to help him find a lost wedding band. I did not have luck finding it, but he was more than happy to have me check out the remainder of his property. Big Ol' colonial.
