v3I headphones other options any?

They are the only company that currently makes wireless headphones for the V3i. If your tech savy and like projects I'm sure you could modify the headphones with a small amp and make you a custom rig but at $300 it would be kinda hard to canabolize them!

Yes Rob's right they are the only ones with a wireless headphone set up for that model, they are great though I gotta admit that I bought 2 pairs of them when I was teaching my wife what sounded good in targets to junk,
Now the v3i like all other detectors has the output for Wired headphones so im sure you could rig something up, Im using a f75ltd & they dont have wireless but im using a full wireless set of tdkwr700 headphones there comfortable,no lag whatso ever mayb using the transmitter you could come up with somethin, I beleive auvio makes a good wireless set as well

just purchase a V3i big upgrade from an Ace 350
would like to use some on the wireless headphone I now have. any idea what freq. etc they use?
may just hook the Auvio wireless transmitter to the wired port
any ideas?
thanks

The factory V3i wireless headphones are the only ones that will work with the machine directly without using the wired headphone jack and a transmitter. If you can afford the White's buy them. They work fantastic and are very comfortable.

I agree aswell the spectra headphones are designed for it from the start no other machines, the auvio's & tdk's might work but it would be best with the spectra, headohones

When the temperature is under 60 degrees the Whites wireless headphones are very nice. When it gets warmer then that though they are too hot to wear for me personally. I was out about a week ago and it was about 65 degrees. I wasn't hot but when I took off my headphones my ears were soaking wet with sweat. Looking now for some lighter/cooler headphones for warmer weather.

wire less
what is the world coming too
white's does a fine job of things

Agreed to when I had my v3i I remember my head sweating like crazy from them, besides that they were an excellent pair of headphones to use, huge difference when I went from them to the deus xp backbones. Well I know u can get lighter headphones for the v just not gonna be wireless
