Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has a better beach program (or will one of the nine programs work better than the beach program?) for hunting in wet sand on an Oregon beach with the V3i? I will be visiting my Brother in Newport, Oregon, in about a week. Thanks, Big Red :gold-watch::gold-bracelet::goldbar::pot-of-gold: P.S. Plan on using the Eclipse 950 coil, but what about using the D2 coil, any advantages there? I also have a small 8X7 Sef coil, is that any good on the beach? Again, thanks in advance for any replys, Big Red

On the wet sand, I think you'll find the 950 coil works considerably better than the D2.

Use the 950 coil, concentrics work better on the salt water beaches.Use the stock salt beach program or for a hotter program go to the Whites Forum and look up " Detector Programs" and use the "Fox's V3i programs". Have had great success while visiting Daytona Beach!!

The problem with the whites forum and this guy fox is that it's a one man show and never question him in any thing other then a Flattering way or he will delete your post. And never mention another brand there. This guy fox has thousands of posts and have never seen him post any finds other then a little clad.

Yes it is true that he is the moderator, and it is the Whites forum only. But I will pick anybodies brain that I can for info. If you want to talk about other brands of detectors stay on Treasurenet!

You should ask someone with current field experience. I guess I could now say if you want to talk about that other forum stay there. Mention T-net there and your post will be gone in no time. LMAO
