I got out today to a hill that is behind a local elementary school. I have heard that this area has been hit in the past, but I went there with a positive mind. Within 5 minutes of turning my detector on, I got a nice reading. It pinpointed at 4.5", so I dug a hole and out popped a beautiful 1904 V-nickel (4th of the year). About 3 feet below it, I got a "Penny" reading. It pinpointed at 5.5", so it was "diggable." This proved to be a 1944 Wheatie.
Zoyboy and Blitz could not grace me with their prescence, and I was happy with that .
