A very successful day too! If you ask me.

Ain't it funny how similar a reins guide and an oar lock looks. :)

Some cool stuff you found today trapper! That silver coin is bad*** :icon_thumright:

I bet that token got your heart beating faster. You site looks promising.

Cool relic and coin hunt! Those poor V-nickels sure take a beating in the ground.

Congrats on the new sites Art. PoTential indeed! Very nice finds trapper. My heart would have skipped a beat for sure seeing that big silver looking coin coming out the ground:o. Wtg--HH

I tell ya ,I have never had a old nickel come up looking as good as that one, ground is very harsh on nickel it seems. More so then anything else imo. Great save.

very nice finds

I know what you mean on that Readers Digest coin Trapper. I found one a few years back that was gold in color. I thought for sure I had myself a Double Eagle for about 30 seconds until I could make the token out.

Nice stuff Art!

When I first saw that token, I thought it was a Morgan dollar! I have found similar ones, and that reeded edge just gets you going!

Well done on the IHC and V nick! Best of luck to you.

Congratz on a great hunt! I see all kinds of cool stuff in that pic. The big token got my heart racing....I can't imagine what it did to yours!!! Good job on the V nickel and IHP!

Nice finds, Art. Represents hours of persistent detecting, I'm sure. Good-looking reins guide. Looks like there's more to come from those sites.

I bet that big aluminum token got your heart racing. Just like the pendant I found a few days ago. LOL I thought BIG silver. Stupid Nitro. Yours is even closer to a coin look. Looks like some pretty old stuff there. Part of a lantern, a crotal bell it looks like, and some hammered coins. Hope you score silver or some old lead toys or more interesting things there. Good luck.
