Pretty Amazing photos!!!

Fantastic set of shots...

Cool pictures! :icon_thumright: The object in the 4th and 5th photo is quite unique I must say.

Beautiful scenes!

I'm with digger. What are those round things in the 4th and 5th pics??

Don't know the proper name, but I've always called them "Moab Rocks". Moab has
rock formations that are unique to itself...well worth the drive if you can swing it.

Beautiful work Ron!

I don't know what the big thing is, other than a big rock. The thing is huge, and I believe you could fit a car in that hole at the bottom. If you look close at the sky near the top left, you can see what appears to be dust on my camera sensor, but it's actually a flock of buzzard's.

There is no sign at the turnout identifying it, but my atlas say's it's called "Church Rock".

Great shots and I been right through there. I stopped and looked at that domed rock and it looked like they had dug back into it, but I didn't get up close to it. I might go back down to that part of the country at the end of this month and spend time huntin up more petroglyphs up north of Moab.

Many Thanks Everyone for your input. I don't have a lot of time to spend on the computer because of my job. (OTR truck driver.) Once in a great while I will have the opportunity to take some pictures.

Those are breath taking photos. Thanks for sharing.

Utah is my favorite state to tour, more national parks in a 300 mile radius than anywhere else in America and all of them are different......it is beautiful there...

We have been right by those places, could not figure out what the big rock was either, but it sure is pretty. Its a mystery to us but i am sure out there somewhere someone can tell us the history. Love the area.Went and looked up church rock on internet very interesting the land did then and still does belong to the young family. It has a 16' by 24' entrance but that is as far as they got (not the young family) they were going to hollow it out and make a church. i think back in the 1940's.
