all,

went to the usual park by my house and found yet another shotgun shell also found 3 percussion caps and also found a weird soft metal with the letters SH on them, looked like older writing but not sure? put the caps and the piece of metal next to a quarter for sizing.

the percussion caps 2 had a V inside a triangle and one had an acorn on them? i know they used them for muskets, and since older shells and a button had been found in this area, thought i would throw this out there for you guys!

thanks for looking and HH

also hit another park close buy just got clad an another shotgun shell.

Those look like CB caps from a 22 cal. They don't make much noise when shot, and can be used in places where you don't want to draw a lot attention. They are shorter than a 22 short. Nice finds, and Happy Hunting.

i have found alot of older shotgun shells in this area, all have marking /copmanys from late 1800-early 1900's and a button from that era. there is a road there, but not sure how long it has been there. thanks for comments..HH
