Using Spiritual entities as guides to locate treasure

A good sized chuck of me feels dumb asking this question. Not wanting to leave a stone unturned, I'll ask anyways: Has anyone ever successfully asked spirits to help with locating treasure and gotten positive results? If so, what did you do?

I would think that a person that has "crossed over" and actually has the intellect to communicate with a mortal person would realize that treasure has no real meaning or value in life or death. Given that thought, why would they go out of their way to tell you where one was if they knew of one? I would think their priority would be to convince you in the reality of life after death, not where a couple gold coins are buried.

This is an Excellent question, my version of the answer is:
If your spirit(s) that you acknowledge, are the most powerful,
then if they give you knowledge/access, you my be able to
get 'er done... So don't give up, if it is at all possible, work
to try to make it happen. Learn as you go, and be careful...
