Ok, brothers and sisters, I need a reality check.
I have been able to get out over the last few weeks and enjoying some well needed swinging and digging time. I have 3 machines: 2 Sovs and an E-Trac. The problem is, I prefer my Sovs! don't get me wrong, the E-Trac is a great machine. It just feels like information overload... Ferrous, Conductive, Patterns, Modes, TTF, 4t, Mutlitone... GAH! Yes, I know. Take the time to learn the machine and all will be well. I've had the E-Trac 2 years and have dug some nice stuff. Sadly the Sov XS better suits me. I know the tones and IDs on it well. It's solid and deep in dirt, and a killer at the beach, and I don't even mind not having a depth meter. Would I be crazy for trading it in on say... a Sov GT? Or another brand completely?
Please help... talk me into or out of this thought I cannot get out of my head.
