Hello,
I have the following for sale.
It is all used, in good condition. I debated with myself whether I want to sell it or not, because I really do like it, but I decided I can't afford to have it right now.

• Minelab CTX 3030 detector
Mfg Year: 2016

Includes: 11" Coil (came with the detector when I bought it used; NOTE: it has scuff marks on the bottom of the coil and coil cover and is well used)
17" Coil with coil cover (I bought it new; it is used now, but in good/very good condition)
Andy Sabisch handbook (this book is interesting enough you could browse through it even if you didn't have the detector)
The owner's manual is not included unless I find it. I didn't look at it much, but used Andy Sabisch's handbook
XChange CD (you can also just download the software to modify / add search patterns)
battery charger
battery pack that uses regular AA batteries (I show a picture of it taken apart to show how it holds 8 AA batteries)
Treasure Wise headphones with 1/4" plug connection and 6ft cord (Ebay ItemId 281083924160)
Lesche Digging Tool (hand shovel with teeth on one side)
Garrett 'carrot' (genuine from Big Boys Hobbies last June; I say genuine, because I mistakenly bought a counterfeit on Ebay that didn't work so good...kinda like throwing ~$80 in the trash can)

PRICE: $2,175.00 including shipping in the lower 48 states

I can receive payment by PayPal. If you prefer offline payment, we can probably do that.
Shipping will be best way: UPS, FedEx or USPS

I am curious... how old is the detector ?... in other words when did you buy it ?

I ask because you stated you bought this detector used... so it was used before you ?

I bought it in 2019 and it was used then. I know it is the updated version, but I will have to check what the year is and post it.

So... let me get this straight... and I am by no mean trying to "stir the pot"...

You are selling a detector that has been owned at least twice... which really doesn't matter at all...

The part I am confused about is the price.

For 100 more you can get it brand new... NO previous use / owners.

I just don't get the "value" here.

Thanks for your comments. I adjusted the price a little, as it was probably too high.
I'm not sure if you were figuring in the 17" coil being included or not...

Well I am not really up to date on the 17 coil cost... but I am sure it factors in.

Just trying to help you sell it. :)

I actually want one... just because I have never had one... I have heard many good things about them.

I’ve used one once before, and they’re pretty comfortable to swing, even with the bigger coil

I thought forum rules were no questioning price ect? If it's too high and you don't want it move on!

Just as an fyi, the best price I know of right now (1/10/20) for a 17" coil is a used one on Ebay for $345. The best price I saw for a CTX3030 detector, new or used was a new one for $2,299 on Ebay (with 1 coil, 11"). If you're not in a hurry, you can check periodically for used ones and likely can get one for a couple or few hundred under $2,000. Also, I understand some dealers are willing to give decent discounts.
