Used Coils

My used MXT is on it's way, Thanks wavecraze. I'm going to want to pickup a couple of used coils, What is a fair price to pay for used? Mine comes with a 950 coil and will need to get a couple smaller ones for nugget hunting. I'm on SSI and money is kind of tight and I can't afford to overpay. Just want to be fair also. As you can tell I'm a newbie to detecting LOL. So ready to play, I'm a 62 yr old kid waiting on Christmas

What a feeling ! Still learning my DFX where do you find used coils ? Sure would like to find a nugget. Need to be doing it to find it ?? Being legal, looking,bothers me? Is it really that complicated? Would love to tag along and learn I'm 60 and smileing I know that feeling

No answers for you but a suggestion for how to get an answer. First, try posting under the Fisher brands forum here on T net. I would also research the specific coil you are interested in by looking at what dealers are offering new. Once you know the specific coil you want and what it costs new, check every metal detector board with a classified section of for sale items, as well as Craig's list and Ebay. Also google the coil with the word used. Good luck
