Use of two 5" powerjets in-line for maximum lift.

Hi is it over-kill to install 2 separate 5" powerjets on the suction hose for maximum lift..?
Would it be possible even to have 2 separate 5" dual powerjets and then plug the unused jetlog holes when not in use...?
I am expecting to use honda gx390 with keene PHP500 pump housing..

Yup ! that's the next question I was going to ask you ! For really deep holes you might need the extra vacuum to get all the material up the hose .

It is for dryland/ or highbanking if you will and I would like to go as deep as possible, hopefully 2-3 meters (6-10ft) down from the ground. the water-table is appearing about 0,75-1 meter (2,5-3 ft) down. I am going to supply secondary water for the suction hole so that no air is sucked up.

conventional wisdom goes out the window with dryland dredging, you're going to need a booster jet and a whole lot of water. Your best bet would be using a suction nozzle in conjunction with one or two booster jets.

sounds like you have the right idea, One jet down in the hole to push the material
another to keep it moving and give the slurry a boost close to your screened set of sluice runs.

every foot above the plane will yield lesser vacuum and less capacity.
put together what you think will work then make adjustments when you can see how the riffles are doing.
don't hog the box but with adjustments you can get it dialed in.

An inline jet log is generally refered to as a booster jet, at the nozzle end you need a suction nozzle to drive the material up the hose to be picked up by the booster. With a suction nozzle you can be less concerned about sucking air.
