I've used a 50-50 mix of water and white Elmers glue on fragile pewter buttons with good results. Could I use the same mixture to stabilize the kettle brass arrow points seen here?
I plan on putting the brass points in a suspension case, but I want to due the extra step to of water and glue to stabilize and protect from flaking. While the fish spearpoint (top row) is much thicker, the points are extremely thin and subject to flaking. I think the brass won't react too much from a light application of water and glue mix.
