US NAVY Overalls - from the free table......at the dump .

I got these off the free table at the transfer station , I was wondering how old they might be ?

probably before my time. Never saw anything like that while I was in (4 yrs navy and 4 yrs seabees, starting 1969)

It says "1st div" If I remember correctly that would be a deck division on the ship. They chipped the gray paint on the outside of the ship and repainted it gray again, polished the brass, tied a lot of knots and when they were done started it all over again.

I found this link about the the NAVAL NET DEPOT , TIBURON
They made a 7 mile long floating iron net near the Golden Gate Bridge after Pearl Harbor . Maybe it's related ?

Nice snag and closing sale price! Transfer station where I live has signs posted stating that NOTHING is to be taken. It further states that everything is monitored by security cameras and if you're caught taking stuff, they have a right to ban you from the property. I'm guessing some greedy yahoos ruined it for everyone else at some point in the past.
