US Bit Boss,Eagle Buttons, & Bullets at Gen. Crook's hunted out camp-VIDEO

Josh of the Tennessee Trio has worked 11 hour shifts since the first of January and even had to miss our Arkansas hunt. When he has had time after working all night, he made short hunts to a camp that has seen many, many hunters. He made some good finds as shown in the pic with the red background. He was off work this weekend & invited Doug & I to hunt that site that we know well. Doug opted to attend an auction today. Josh struck first blood with a coat size eagle button as shown. Later in the hunt, he dug his first U.S. bridle bit boss as shown. Scratch one from his wish list. WTG, Josh. Enjoy the video & HH from Josh & Quindy.

Beautiful day for getting out and digging. Loved the U.S. bit, that's a great find! Too bad DMan couldn't go, he would have enjoyed watching you and Josh dig relics!!! :laughing7: :laughing9:

As always a fun video and some wonderful finds. I'm still unable to get out but, soon.
Maybe I should try to plan a road trip. ;)

WTG Quindy.

Big congrats to Josh on the first bit boss. I have one question though...what are pool room shoes?:icon_scratch:

OD, they are very casual lightweight shoes with hardly any tread on the soles. Much like moccasins. Josh actually wore boots with little tread -LOL. The terrain was a deep ditch/ravine covered with leaves over mud and very treacherous. HH, Q.

Congrats Doug on finding the Pit Boss & Eagle button! Both are great finds especially on a hunted-out area, but I'm one who believes no spot is ever totally hunted out. Quindy, great job on the video as usual, and kudos on starting it out with your precious granddaughter! Breezie

Whoa! Ya know, Q made fun of those boots today, but those may be your lucky boots, Josh! What some great finds today! Congrats!
Nana

ps...love that pic of Papa's baby girl.

With all the Calvary action on the sites I hunt, I have NEVER found a bit boss. Nice man . . .

Way to go guys. I am so proud of my students. Remember Josh and my relic book will be out this summer detailing new and amazing never before discovered relics. lol

Excellant hunt. I read it last night and meant to comment. I have a bit boss like that and went to find it and never could ? Oh well at least I get to see yours!
Fun hunts!

I watched the video just now. It hurts me deeply that you both missed me so much. I will be at our next hunt with bells on.
