hi guys,
hoping you can pass on some intel about these two items I scored.

I probably paid too much, but I am liking them :headbang:

It's marked sterling, so I guess it's a quality repro?

Also sterling, marked V.H Blackton, which I found doing a google (a badge maker)
What is Nuebling? guessing a gun club?

Thanks in advance for any input.

I believe that the ring is just a general "Army Service" ring that can be bought from any number of retailers in a wide range of metals and quality. As for the pendant, the best that I can come up with is that Nuebling may be a Dutch last name, which could make sense if it were a personalized item.

The ring is pretty nice; I know when you are done with Basic they offer some very not nice looking rings to pick from someone can buy, then also in AIT if you like. Then if you are lucky enough to get selected and make it through training there are rings again that can be offered, along with knives and guns even.

This is the best ring I have seen, I know I only had a full retirement experience and spent most my time in the bush but this one sure beats all the others I have seen.

Pretty cool find.
