I've never seen this type of firing pin. Anyone a gun nut that can identify it?

You'd be better off posting that in the "What is it" I bet someone there will ID it for you.

Are you sure it's from a gun? What's the metal composition? What type of area did you find it in? Could it be from a fuse train?

Good call! I've thought about that. Could be from a point det or mech time fuse. I just wasn't sure. Its def small so it fits the bill. Normally firing pins don't survive detonation without any blemishes, if at all. At least i wouldnt expect one to... Not sure of the content. Rang up high metal on the CZ 3D. Found around military installation so it has to be from our arsenal either way.

Reminds me of the firing pin on an MP5! Might be from another sub gun. Maybe a "greasegun". I've never taken one of those apart so I can't really say.
