Upstate NY Newbie

Hello Everyone!
After several years of bs-ing about getting a md finally did it. Purchased a cheapo 9 finction md from Harbor Freight. LOL this thing works! received it 3 days ago and have been out with it everyday. Finds thus far are: 2 quarters, 2 dimes, 5 pennies, several soda/beer cans, nails, bolts, a bullet casing, steel dog clasp, brass fishing spoon, 1 1/2 lb of steel, battery cable end, a knob, a piece of a leaf spring and foil. i'm gonna learn with this md and upgrade to fisher f2. Im hooked.

Thanks! By the way, was in Louisiana, travelled to New Orleans for a day shortly after Katrina, from Buloxi. Loved the area-the people! Someday I'll be back!
