Some users have recently been pushing the envelope as to what's allowed here at TreasureNet.
Complaints about our automatic word censor being used in "PM's" (personal messages) and moderators reading "PM's" has prompted a clarification in our terms of use....

Our terms have been updated to include the following text....
A Word About TreasureNet "PM's" PM stands for "Personal Message". Personal messages may be reported by recipients to our moderators. This will include the content of the message. Due to this, users should NOT assume "Personal Messages" are "Private Messages". We reserve the right to read "PM's". Reported Personal Messages that indicate a violation of our terms may result in disabled PM's or banning.
However - we do NOT generally read PM's, and never have! We have enough on our plate without that!
... and for the record.. our terms have for years stated... "You may not... Post PM's (TreasureNet personal messages), email messages, or any other form of correspondence from other people that were intended or assumed to be solely for you.
...note the use of the word "personal" not "private".
I just thought it would make sense to make our position on this perfectly clear.
Thanks to those who care more about testing our defenses than participating a civil discussion.
Thanks,
Marc Austin
