(UPDATED) Found another Ring (14K) and stuff at a Soccer Field

Found a ring (Wedding-Band) and a pin Grenies of Delaware (soccer team) and some pocket change at a park. That area where I hunted use to be farmland.

I had the Ring tested at a jewelry store it's 14k Gold.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He also said it was very old ring.

I thought it was a junk ring! I guess not!!
There is no stamp on it identifing it as gold.

That ring looks so much like one I found that was a high copper content 10k number...It rang up just one notch under a penny...How did your rings up? Most of the gold I have found rings up as a straight up nickel.

I think it is gold plated and there are no markings stating gold, came up as a Nickel on the Garrett Ace 250

Great! Way to go. You will be showing us old timers up before long. The key to successful detecting is to keep at it. A lot of my best finds were at the end of the day. If I had become impatient and quit early I would not have made the find. Put in the time and learn your machine. Joe

I think it is gold and not plated, it looks like it was cut and welded, I don't think it would of been worth it to do it to a plated ring.

Just got back from the Jeweler he said it was 14K Gold and was very old.
