**UPDATE** I took it to a local jewelery shop and she took a quick look under a glass and said it is just costume jewelery. Oh well it still looks really neat and I like it.
Went to the ocean today. It was 4 degrees when we headed out but it warmed up to 18 and the sun was out. I found this ring and I have no idea if this is new junk or perhaps Victorian?? The ring itself is pretty think and heavy. It sounded very similar to pull tab and on my Explorer ll the cross hairs were a little below center and a little left of center. I was thinking cheap grade gold would do that or even very old silver that was mixed with other materials would do that. I could not find any markings in it but maybe because of corrosion? Any thoughts? Thanks for looking 8)
