unusual rock found while prospecting wisconsin creek

looks like limestone limestone has a lot of crystal silica a lot of flint and chert in it

Its not chert but a type of quartz. Quartz does get crystals tiny and large.

what I was trying to say is chert and Flint. have a lot of silica and crystal quartz in it limestone in Flint go hand in hand it has a lot of crystal quartz in it too limestone that is
