Hello T-Net,

I am once again stumped and asking for help. A couple months ago, I was hunting near a CW battlefield and dug a rather curious pendant. I am not sure what it nor how old it is. The area of Southeastern Virginia I hunt contains relics from many different centuries often within close proximity, which makes identifying tough at times which is not a bad problem to have. So, I was wondering if anyone has any clues.

The pendant with the chain is just over five inches long and the pendant by itself is about an inch by an inch. I have not cleaned this beyond a light brushing, so the pendant is about as shiny as when I dug it. The pendant is double sided and features a bare breasted lady with long hair on each side. The bottom of the pendant contains a stone that is very smooth and has a reddish tint to it when held against a light at the correct angle. The chain is much duller and seems to be hand made one loop at a time.

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Watch fob, post civil war period. 1880''s + Common to have owners initials engraved on bottom, not normally used as a seal. Just decoration.

Thanks for all the help, T-Net!! The bottom of the pendant is a smooth reddish gemstone so it is not a stamp or a seal, but I wish it was.
