I was out for a bit Friday near an old home-site with Kimsdad and found
a few odds & ends. . . a crotal bell, copper toe-tap and a '37 Wheat but today,
I made some of my most unusual finds ever.

While hunting a few old homesteads with Mayo, Lobatts and Dirt Fishing Wolf,
my day started out sweet with a '43-S War Nickel and soon after, two Colorado
Tax Tokens (vintage 1935-1945), a '30 Wheat, some live ordnance, a "mini"
deer shed and a few other pieces.

An hour or two later, we all moved west to another site and this is where I made
my most unusual find ever. . . a White Tail Deer scapula with a partial arrow
still imbedded! (It's just sad that this hunter was 9" too high with his aim >:()

Thanks for looking!

That looks like it'd hurt...
Ah... the War Nickel. Perhaps now you can pull 6 or 7 of those in a row, at least that's what happened to me once I found one. Nice assortment of finds...

Congrats on another silver!

Great hinting on your part and not on the bow hunters...
Those tax tokens are SEEEEET, congrats!!!!

Cool finds Mark! Had a good time out there, only netted a nickel(196?) for the cash total on the day.
