Unusual "button" item?

If you don't know me, I am the 13 year old kid on Treasure net, I have been posting a lot about my grandparents civil war house because I metal detect there every single day after school I found this item in the woods on the property. It was next to a fallen tree.

I believe it's copper because it has a greenish tint

It's not a button, it's a bullet! High powered modern rifle, I would assume from deer hunting.

It hit head on and "mushroomed" into that shape.

Civil War Saver, keep at it and the buttons and the other relics will come. Like said, it is great to have someone so young take an intrest in our History and relic hunting. I found my first CW relic when I was your same age back in 1969.
