Unusual button find for me - id help needed

Found this two piece button yesterday on a quick hunt with my buddy Jdsly. Found it in our original "button spot" where most of my finds are flat buttons but the same















area where Jdsly found his rattlesnake button. Any help id'ing will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking and hope everyone had a great weekend!

Also found this flattened out piece of lead. Thought for sure I had a coin at first!

I believe that is a late 1800s / early 1900s civilian button. I have found similar examples on sites dating from that period.
