Well it sure looks manmade ,other than that I don't know.Nice though,I like it.Maybe from an old fireplace,somehow?

I don't know anything about bricks, but the veins may help ID.
I used to find many red brick pieces on a Treasure Coast beach. We don't use bricks much for construction here in Florida. I would imagine they would have to cook on a sailing vessel's long voyage and would have to use firebricks on a wooden ship.
