Haven't a clue of its age - but, it is neat mjm579. Thanks for sharing...

The clasp is know by many estate jewelry collectors as a trombone type. It also tells me it would be from not much latter then the early 1940s. It is definitley genuine Art Deco in my opinion. If I had to bet as to the origin I'm going with an early Scandinavian production. It looks to be silver and would be most likley .800 or 80% pure. There is a turm for these unmaked Scandinavian pieces, but I'd need to spend some time looking that up again. Check out ebay jewelry under the Scandinavian listings and you should see what they call these type of early pieces, as Its just a nice little piece of art. You did great at 4 bucks. I'd a grabbed that in a second.

Thanks! I'm definitely in love. I don't usually buy pieces intending to keep them. This is def a keeper!!

Definitely have the metal tested, both 10k and 14k tarnish after years of storage. I would have said it was 20s origin, but I'm just a collector, not a expert.
