I am in the lawn care business and I finally got up enough nerve to ask a customer if i could hunt her property, a house built in 1740. After office work on sunday I had about an hour and gave it a try, not much time but exiting. I got the usual iron junk and some clad, no old coins yet. There is about 2 1/2 acres of property and I stayed at the very far end of the property in the unmanicured lawn area. I did get this item that has peaked my interest. It is a small sheild with C.T. in the middle and two 8's on
the bottom left and right. I took some 0000 steel wool to try and clean it a bit but am afraid I am only going to damage it. Any ideas? I plan to go back again hopefully this weekend.
