A predator. I will guess Bobcat.

Here is my Bobcat that I found hit by a car on Alligator Alley in the Everglades. The taxidermist put in plastic teeth ::)...the originals were larger.

MIght be a small dog. Here's a chihuahua skull for comparison.

Actually, I don't think that's what it is... but somebody had to post it! ::)

I'm guessing a house cat too. Or some other closely related animal. I'm also thinking it appears to look like a type of nocturnal hunter, look at the size of the orbital bones.

big house cat or bobcat

That would be a domestic cat skull. If it were a bobcat skull it would not have the little tooth imbetween the fang and molar. My buddy and I actually collect skulls, he has over 100 diffent types of skulls. It's definantley a kitty cat.

Feline for sure...bobcat, cougar, mountain lion, ocelot, panther, etc. etc.

Since you said size of your fist, that would mean full grown domestic cat. My Bobcat's head is larger than a softball. Also Bobcat has already been ruled out by Mobes input on the teeth.

Looks to me that you MIGHT have something special. Notice how the face curves in the front? It seems strange to me. How and where did you find it? Please tell us more. That might help in figuring out what it is.
