I've been saving things up for a while and got to playing with the acid today. This is solid silver. Tested with Nitric Acid. Weighs 8.96g. Has me baffled.

Crispin...
I have a five gallon bucket full of items like what you have posted in your threads of weird metals.

I have half a mind to send it to you... heh. :)

It doesn't look broken off of anything, the way the seam is looking, so is a mystery. Still, silver is silver so you just turned a profit:thumbsup:

AARC...
I got more then a few extra bottles of nitric acid. With the combination of muriatic aicd and nitric acid I can figure most metals out. I have Friday mornings off. So if you want to get together in Tampa just let me know and we will have some fun playing with them. This silver bar is neat...just can't figure how it got there and what the numbers mean. Definitely not broken off anything.

I have been through it a few times... tis bunk.
I have rarely found odd blobs and pieces of metals that I cannot identify...
they all get recycled one way or another in the end.

And even if there is some oddball silver or such...
Ya gotta give back to the gods.

Besides... they are each a memory to me...
most worth more than what they are made of...
Nothing there would be "significant" even if something anyway.

But thanks for the offer...
Next boulder that beeps and I cannot deduce what it is...
I will send a msg. :P

Weighs 8.96grams. I don't know what AG is. Also, it is not a piece...no broken parts. It is the whole thing.

In Hebrew the number 0427 corresponds to the word "allah" Does this make sense to anybody?

It also looks like the "o" is offset from the 427 baseline. So maybe it is not a zero at all and the "o" represents something else. Why else would somebody start a number off with a zero...
