unknown metal rock

I found this rock at large man made lake in central California . its very heavy at 7 lbs and soft like gold. I cut off the sides and polished thinking it was worthless but pretty.
Tested it with an acid kit from Amazon and it said negative for gold..by the color of the acid it said Nickel.. which i have my doubts about..
i put a small piece in 75% muriatic and 25% nitric acids and the reaction you can see if the video..
i ordered more test kits but take over a week to get..
anyone have an idea what this metal is? thx

I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard 1rought! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile.
