Unknown metal object

I need help identifying a metal object which I found while metal detecting on my property. It is 4 inches by 8 inches and 3/8 inch thick. The pictures are the front and back.

looks like part of a transmission on a vehicle.. where the fluid is cycled through.. usually right above the tranny filter... Maybe lol...

That might be the case...I will take it to a friend of mine who is in the auto repair business. I found this buried about 1 inch on my 22 acre property...Thanks for your help.

It is part of a transmission, And from where the fluid runs..........................................HH
