I was hunting in Oklahoma today and was finding 1890's thru 1950's relics. This button looks really old and I have no clue. It is about the size of a US quarter. From what I am seeing on the bottom looks like waves or water, so I am assuming its a ship of some sorts.. DSC00463.JPG here is the front.. the back has no writing. The shank is gone and what's left is a green corrosion. Any help would be appreciated.DSC00480.JPG

You need to clean it in some warm peroxide , are sure its a button can you see a raised spot where the shank was . My first thought was maybe a aluminum token , what is it made of , is really lite in weigh , or possible silver ?

It isn't aluminum it is too heavy. there is definitely a raised spot on the back were something(possibly a shank) was. The corrosion is green like copper. I don't think it is silver but it did hit high conductive like a U.S. dime. I am afraid to clean it too much till I am for sure what it is...thanks Ifoundit69..
